Kontron established the ETX Certified Partner Programme to support the development of reliable customised carrier boards for the diverse number of possible embedded applications solutions that are to be based on ETX modules.ETX Certified Partners have been qualified by Kontron and have the necessary 'knowhow' to create reliable ETX carrier boards within the project's specified time frame. Boston Design Solutions, Access I/O Products and World Micro have proved themselves to Kontron by working with the embedded computing technology leader to develop successful ETX and other Kontron COM-based solutions for applications ranging from communications and military to multimedia and medical and more. 'ETX modules are the best solution for custom systems that need many special features that no single off-the-shelf, cookie-cutter carrier board can hope match'. 'Thus, having a community of designers who have been qualified by the leader in embedded COMs to be able to develop carrier boards to meet these needs is of value to Kontron and the entire embedded market', stated Matthias Huber, Director of Kontron Embedded Modules Division. 'ETX Certified Partners have the proven knowhow to create reliable ETX carrier boards because of their relationship with Kontron'. 'They are the perfect resource for the embedded developer working on a very quick-to-market project regardless of overall volume'. |
