Available now from Acrosser Technology, the AR-ES0831 series of embedded systems is designed for space critical applications requiring extreme reliability and ruggedness, combining low-power-consumption fanless operation and powerful computing capabilities with flexible I/O configuration and long product life support. The AR-ES0831 series offers a choice between the low power consumption Intel Celeron M up to 1GHz or a high performance Intel Pentium M processor. It is equipped with two 10/100 LAN ports, two USB ports, four serial communication ports and an audio port, all enclosed in a rugged and lightweight compact aluminium chassis.

In addition, a licensed Microsoft Windows XP Embedded OS image can be ported as option.

With these features, the AR-ES0831 is billed as a perfect platform for developing all-in-one solutions for industrial and embedded applications such as, POS/kiosk, environmental monitoring, ticketing, medical, automotive and more.
