Module upgrades XScale designs

The Colibri PXA290 is claimed to be the world's first product based on the Monahans XScale processor from Intel/Marvell.

Available now from Toradex, the Colibri PXA290 is claimed to be the world's first product based on the Monahans XScale processor from Intel/Marvell. The Colibri computer module comes with a pre-installed WinCE 5.0 BSP and a complete set of drivers to start development with the Colibri evaluation board. Colibri PXA290 is compatible with the widely used Colibri PXA270 which allows an easy and significant performance upgrade for Toradex customers with existing designs.

The Colibri PXA290 is currently available in sample quantities.

Mass production is scheduled for January 2007.
