Thin client is easy to build

ENlight UK announces the arrival of its easy to build ZB13B0 thin client, amidst a market with the strongest sales growth since 2000 according to analysts, Gartner. Global shipments of thin-client hardware rose 38% in 2005 to over 2.2 million units. Gartner predicts the thin-client computing market will continue to grow over the next few years driven largely by ASCII-based terminal replacement and PC security issues.

The Enlight ZB13B0 thin client is specifically designed to save money, energy, time and work and includes a remote management tool that simplifies system administration and adds value allowing controlled management, grouping/scheduling, USB control, remote shutdown/updates etc.

There are three base versions: a Win CE 5.0 basic module from GBP 500; a Win XP Embedded basic module from GBP 680; and a barebone unit from GBP 400.

All include C3VCM6 VIA platform M/B, C3 1G fanless CPU and 60W external power kit, and are available to order from authorised Enlight distributors Enta Technologies, Microtronica and Northamber.
