The AMD Geode LX processor on IB530 delivers premium performance with very low total system power. These processors operate at a maximum power of 5.1W (LX900@1.5W), 3.6W (LX800@0.9W) and 3.1W (LX 700@0.8W). It comes coupled with the AMD Geode CS5536 companion device, the combined chipset offering a complete set of features for full computing functionality. Two highly integrated Realtek RTL8100C 10/100 Ethernet controllers feature remote wake-up to increase cost-efficiency in network maintenance and management. The IB530 has a DDR SODIMM socket for up to 1Gbyte memory. The built-in 2D graphics controller supports both CRT and TFT LCD displays. Functional interfaces and connectivity are provided for four serial ports, four USB ports, IDE, FDD, and a printer port.
